Help us Keep the Spirit of Chanukah Alive

The Dollars for David campaign is an annual Chanukah tradition for Na'amat Canada. Some of the funds raised help provide toys, books, games and other holiday treats to the many Israeli children in need at our Na'amat facilities. Without the help of our loyal donors, they would otherwise face harsh disappointment at Chanukah gift-giving time.

National Chanukah Get-Together: Sharing Light, Sharing Laughter.
Join members from across the country for a warm, interactive evening full of connection, laughter, and holiday cheer.
This is a free event, and you are welcome to bring your favourite holiday drink and get ready to light up the night with friends old and new. This festive Zoom gathering will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow Na’amat members, hear inspiring stories, and share in the joy of Chanukah. We will enjoy memorable moments together and take a lighthearted look at the season in ways that will leave you smiling.

The event is free, but you can still donate to support Na’amat Canada, as this is one of the last opportunities to donate this year and receive a tax receipt. Whether you are looking to reconnect, meet new friends, or simply celebrate the holiday spirit with like-minded members across Canada, this evening promises warmth, fun, and plenty of festive cheer. The 2026 Calendar is in the works-and your support makes it possible!

Your generous support in our Calendar will allow us to continue our vital work in Israel.

Locally, we want our 2026 Calendar project to continue to promote and support local businesses. We will gladly provide you with calendars to distribute to your customers, available December 2026.

There are several ways you can support the calendar campaign:
- Advertise your business
- Mark your special occasions in the calendar (birthday, anniversary, or yahrzeit)
- Include your name on our page of "Friends and Sponsors"
The calendar will be distributed to families and businesses in the Montreal community. In addition to 1000 paper copies, a digital copy will be distributed to over 800 emails plus hundreds more via social media.

New for 2026! Our calendar will be fully bilingual.

Featured in the full-colour calendar are Canadian and Jewish holidays, Montreal candle-lighting times, information about the work of Na'amat, and advertisements from our supporters.

Na'amat Canada Vancouver is once again pleased to offer our community Honey Cakes and Apple Tarts for the New Year. These cakes will be available for pickup at the JCC on Monday September 22nd from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at a cost of $30 per honey cake and $36 per apple tart; (this includes a $18 tax receipt).
