Leave a Legacy

Planned Giving is accessible to everyone. Once you have assured the financial security for your loved ones, you can fulfill a legacy to help the future of Israel by supporting a cause that you hold dear.

How do Planned Gifts Help?

A planned gift can help you achieve your tax and financial goals, as well as your philanthropic goals, and it can help you make a much larger gift than otherwise possible. Your gift can provide direct funding, or it can establish an endowment. You may also make your gift in honour or in memory of a special person in your life.

Planned gifts devoted to Na'amat Canada help to sustain countless social services throughout Israel. With a little planning, you can create a truly lasting legacy for generations to come.

How does the Donor Benefit?

You will enjoy significant tax benefits while making an important contribution to bettering the lives of future generations of Israeli women, children, youth and families. Your gift will become part of your overall financial and estate planning. Some planned gifts are deferred, which means that you commit now to a gift that Na’amat Canada will receive in the future. Other gifts provide us with funds immediately. There are many giving options to suit your needs.

An Array of Planned Giving Possibilities

Bequest

Make a donation to Na'amat Canada by adding a distinct clause or codicil to your will or by including Na'amat Canada as a beneficiary in your will. This donation will reduce the taxes payable by your estate.

Securities

Transfer stocks or bonds to Na'amat Canada and receive a donation receipt based on the value of the security on the day it is transferred to Na'amat Canada, resulting in savings in capital gains tax. (Since 2006, the Canadian government eliminated the capital gains tax on donations of publicly listed securities to charitable organizations.)

RRSPs and RRIFs

Name Na'amat Canada as the beneficiary of your registered retirement savings plan, retirement income fund, or any surplus funds in your bank account upon your demise. As a result, your estate will receive a charitable donation tax receipt for the full amount of the gift.

Ethics and Confidentiality

Na'amat Canada follows strict ethical standards and treats its donors with respect, integrity and discretion. Making a planned donation requires reflection and preparation. Na'amat Canada recommends that you consult your legal, taxation and financial advisors to carry out the most appropriate donation for your situation.
