Centennial Celebration

Our Centennial Celebration to be held from May 16 to May 18 in Toronto where we will be joined by our chaverot from Na’amat USA.

We stand with Israel

The women, children and families that Na'amat supports need us more now than ever. Help us to continue to support those that still need us. Together we are stronger! Am Yisrael Chai!

2024 Year In Review

2024 was a year of hope and prayers for the safe return of our hostages and soldiers. We stood in solidarity with our sisters in Na’amat Israel, working to ensure the safety and well-being of women and children. Their resilience and strength continue to inspire us. We remain committed to this vital work in the future.

ABOUT US

Since the 1920s, Na'amat has been at the forefront of championing equality, empowering women to work side by side with men, and uplifting families and communities. Originally known as Pioneer Women, our members were in the fields, factories, and communal kitchens—building a better future for women in Israel, even before the state was founded.

Golda Meir, one of our earliest leaders, embodied the courage and vision that continues to inspire Na'amat today. The name Na'amat—an acronym in Hebrew for the Movement of Working Women and Volunteers—reflects our enduring mission to create positive change.

As the largest women’s movement in Israel, Na'amat sets the standard for advancing human rights and social equality. Na’amat Canada’s impact extends beyond Israel, with projects in Canada designed to help women and children. We are part of a sisterhood with eight other countries that share the common Na’amat vision. Join us in building a world where equality, opportunity, and harmony flourish.

Infants, toddlers, and teens benefit from the educational services that we support. Children suffering from psychosocial issues, from violence in the family or simply unable to succeed in the regular school system thrive in our special settings.
